GALLADE

GALLADE

475 / GALLADE - Pokémon Papercraft

Species: Blade Pokémon
Height: 1.6 m (5′03″)
Weight: 52 kg (114.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Gallade have a white lower body that consists of bold rounded hips with strong legs. The torso is thin and colored in a balance between the green of its upper body, and the white of its lower body. Sharp red hornlike protrusions stick out of the chest and back similar to Gardevoir. Gallade's arms are shaped like tonfas, with extendable blades in the elbows. His head resembles a gladiator's helmet, with a white face. Like his counterpart Gardevoir, Gallade has spikes on the sides of his face.
Gallade is male-only, evolving from a male Kirlia when exposed to the Dawn Stone.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 22 cm/8.66 in
Width: 15.4 cm/ 6 in
Depth: 16.3 cm/6.4 in
No. of Pages: 3
No. of Pieces: 43
Level: Easy / Medium

NOTES: Build the model following the numbers on the template. This model is really simple to assemble, with the exception of the fingers, which are tiny. In order to glue the crest to the head, first assemble part 40, and glue it on the head. Then assemble part 41, and glue it to both head and part 40. Do not glue parts 40-41 toghether before glueing them to the head, or you'll risk to spill glue onto it.

RIOLU

RIOLU

447 / RIOLU - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Riolu
Type: Fighting
Species: Emanation Pokémon
Height: 0.7 m (2′04″)
Weight: 20.2 kg (44.5 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Riolu are sensitive to a special type of energy called Aura. Riolu's evolved form, Lucario, can use these waves to attack, or study these waves to predict the movements of their opponents, and use them to track anyone. However, Riolu does not have the ability to fully use these powers, although it can still emanate these waves to communicate and sense them - albeit only in "ripples" as opposed to the "waves" of energy its evolution can sense and guide. Most notably, it cannot learn Aura Sphere or Detect naturally, two moves that Lucario learns that are often attributed to its aura powers. Like almost all Fighting-type Pokémon, Riolu naturally has superhuman strength, stamina, and endurance and is capable of making long journeys on foot in a short amount of time.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 19,9 cm/7.8 in
Width: 11,9 cm/ 4.7 in
Depth: 14,3 cm/5.6 in
No. of Pages: 4
No. of Pieces: 49
Level: Medium

NOTES: This model is pretty straightforward, just follow the numbers on the template while building it. Using the pdo as reference will help a lot. It doesn't stand without a weight inside: I rolled a small scrap piece of paper and glued it inside Riolu's chest (front) in order to make it stand.

BLAZIKEN

BLAZIKEN

257 / BLAZIKEN - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Blaziken
Type: Fire/Fighting
Species: Blaze Pokémon
Height: 1.905 m (6'03")
Weight: 52.1 kg (114.6 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Blaziken is mostly red in coloration, with accentuations of beige, yellow, and gray. Blaziken appears to have long, beige-colored, hairlike feathers extending behind its head, continuing downward to envelop some of its chest and abdomen. Blaziken’s small, red-colored face is almost completely covered in feathers. It has a crest on its head with two points, which resembles the letter "V". Blaziken has three spiky extensions on the sides of its face, much like Gardevoir’s. Blaziken’s eyes are semicircular in shape, with yellow scleras and blue irises, and Blaziken's mouth is a hooked beak. The continuation of the "hair" from its head on its chest and abdomen makes Blaziken appear as if it's wearing a sleeveless jacket on its torso. Blaziken’s strong, muscular legs give it immense lower body strength, helping its kicking and jumping abilities. Blaziken has three fingers on each hand, resembling that of a normal chicken’s feet, with what appears to be gray-colored wristband-like markings on its wrists. Blaziken has spur-like claws on the underside of its upper leg, and, although rarely seen due to the shaggy feathers on the bottom of its legs, three clawed toes. It can leap over a skyscraper with a single jump. It can make flames spout from its wrists and ankles, cloaking its feet or fists. The stronger the foe it faces, the more intensely its flames burn. It may also launch a fiery kick at the opponent.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 18.4 cm/7.25 in
Width: 18.6 cm/ 7.3 in
Depth: 15.5 cm/6.1 in

No. of Pieces: 60
Level: Hard

NOTES: This isn't an exceptionally hard model for anyone with experience. Labeled hard for those who don't have very much experience. Build order included in download.

CROAGUNK

CROAGUNK

453 / CROAGUNK- Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Croagunk
Type: Poison/Fighting
Species: Toxic Mouth Pokémon
Height: 0.7 m (2′04″)
Weight: 23.0 kg (50.7 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Whenever its middle finger glows purple, it appears to be channeling its poison via its skin and onto its hand to use its Poison moves. Fluid squeezed from its finger, although poisonous, is a significant ingredient in remedies for lower-back pain. It evolves into Toxicroak starting at level 37.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm/ 6.7 in
Width: 17.6 cm/ 6.9 in
Depth: 12.3 cm/ 4.8 in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 41
Level: Medium

NOTES: Croagunk is a simple model, but it is kinda hard to close since you can't really close it at the feet. I'd recommend closing it at the middle of the back, just leave the pieces open until you need to close it.

Start by building the head, then the arms and the legs. Finally, just attach all the pieces together by building the body.

PRIMEAPE

PRIMEAPE

057 / PRIMEAPE - Pokémon Papercraft
Name: Primeape
Type: Fighting
Species: Pig Monkey Pokémon
Height: 1.0 m (3′03″)
Weight: 32.0 kg (70.5 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Primeape has a round body covered in whitish, messy fur. Primeape's ears are triangular with pink insides, its arms and legs are colored brown and the tail it had as a Mankey has dissappeared. Primeape has metal shackles on its wrists and ankles; this is probably indicative of a method of training with weights. The forepaws seem to resemble boxing gloves, alluding to its nature as a Fighting-type Pokémon.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 17.0 cm/ 6.7 in
Width: 22.0 cm/ 8.7 in
Depth: 12.6 cm/ 5.0 in
Pages: 5
Pieces: 55
Level: Medium

NOTES: Build from the face back, closing at the small flat piece of the back. Once that piece is glued, attach the final fur spike right on top, hiding the closing point. Then build the arms from the tip of the hand in, gluing to the body when complete. Same with the legs, from the foot up.

The hat is optional, but adds a bit for anyone who has seen the anime ep. If made, cut the brim to be circular, rather than how it is blocky now.

This model will not stand without weight or a base. Either try to counter balance it with weight in the left hand, use a base, or do what I did- use a string to create a hand hold, and hang it by the arm/hand from it. The small niche in the hand makes the last option easy.
